The sources

Every number on this site, and where it came from.

My own research comes first: what I've read of customers in five industries, counted exactly, and where the findings are written up. Then every published figure the site quotes, with its sample and a link. Where the source sells the fix, that's said too.

Why every inquiry counts

A site's job is to bring inquiries, and these are the figures on what happens to one after it arrives. Site care puts every inquiry in one list; your business dashboard adds the follow-up.

Quotes that go quiet

  • 2 days vs 29

is the median time a won quote takes to be accepted, against how long a lost quote sits untouched, across 432,000 quotes from 745 contractors. A lost quote is usually silence rather than a no, which is why the check-ins start on day 3.

What a lead costs

What is an assumption, not a finding

I found no study that measures how many quiet quotes a check-in wins back, so the site doesn't claim one.
